ReplyDeleteAt the December meeting I was one of the recipients of the "Jesus, Messiah necklace" and that you would be praying for me till the next meeting. I have never been so blessed! I have really felt the never ending love and support from our Lord Jesus Christ when I needed it many times over the last few months. I have seen the Lord work in multiple ways, comfort my fears and worries and "magically" work all things out for good. I could give so many examples of how His strength has carried me through so much over the last few months. How He gave me financial peace and even allowed me to assist others financially. He has even blessed my marriage and has allowed my husband and I to finally start working out some ongoing differences over the last 18 yrs of marriage. I am just so overwhelmed by the power of prayer and the grace and love that God showers me (us) with daily. Thank you all so much for remembering to pray for me.
I also wanted to thank you for giving out bibles in any language that we request. At my first meeting I had requested a bible in Farsi-the native language of my father. My father is 82 yrs old and has lived his whole life as a Christian. What I mean is that he is a friend to everyone, would give you the shirt off his back and love a stranger like he was family. He had great works but missing the obvious and most important part-belief in Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior. After an health issue my father was hospitalized for about a week. My husband and I made the decision to drive 5 hours to see him and share the good news. We had been dancing around it for years with my father but now was the time to tell him plain and simple. His wife, my step-mother is a believer and had been for years. After sharing with him, laughing, crying and just being so transparent, he ended up saying the prayer with my husband and is a believer! The bible arrived after this visit but I went back down south to see my father again in Jan and I gave him the bible. The look on his face was priceless. My step mother says he cannot put the bible down. Praise God!
Again I thank you all and especially Maggie, Carol and Sharon for your willingness to serve and to reach out to the lost. Thank you for your caring and compassion to women through this ministry.

Hi Natalie, so sorry for getting back to you in reply so late. Somehow we missed it until now. But! we rejoice!! with you about your father...thank you so much for sharing this wonderful news. And also the answers to prayer for you :) Our God is so good, and again we are thrilled to hear from you. You will continue to be in our prayers :) for Maggie, Carol and all of us at Women in Christ.
